Renaissance Carpet Cleaners was started in 1996 by Mike Blaqman. After working in the industry for several years and becoming disillusioned with what seemed to be S.O.P. ; namely the bait and switch technique (advertising 1 price, then having the technician tell the customer that the work can’t be done satisfactorily for that price), Mike decided to strike out on his own. The idea was to start a carpet & upholstery cleaning company with honest advertising, and offer “a level of service seldom matched and never surpassed”. With a dream and $500, Renaissance Carpet Cleaners was born and the company is still offering the level of service its customers have come to appreciate to this day.
