Rideau Vineyard

Rideau Vineyard was founded in 1997 by New Orleans native Iris Rideau. Early on in the winery’s inception, Iris Rideau decided to dedicate her estate vineyard entirely to Rhône varietals. She felt that Rhône wines were not only ideally suited to the Santa Ynez Valley AVA, but also instinctively felt that they were best suited to the Creole cuisine of her childhood.

Picnic and taste premium wine at our gorgeous, New Orleans-inspired estate. Surrounded by the vineyards planted in 1998, lush grounds, beautiful gardens, and majestic oak trees, our site has an immediately transportive quality imbued with the feeling of old world French Victorian New Orleans. Over the course of the last fifteen years, Rideau Vineyard has grown in prestige and acclaim yet has remained dedicated to small production and no distribution.
