The Braid Bar

The braid bar was founded in 2012 by Rika Ward-Hunter  and sister Kahara Morris Oakland Natives. The Braid Bar offers complete hair care services specializing in hair braiding, twisting and extensions. We cater to women, men and children of all ages. All natural hair textures are welcome! Our mission is to help you achieve any look for any occasion. We will advise you on protective styles, long term styles and short term styles to help your hair grow healthy.
 
We now offer make up, waxing and lash extension services. Appointments can be booked directly with the stylist of your choice.
